I have been working on a gift for a half anniversary that is coming up for my significant other. This tends to go on ’til the long hours of the night, until the crack of dawn, and pretty much until I’m too tired to work on it any longer. It is the day before I will commence with my master plan on Friday. Though, I’m pretty far from completing my project…

he came over to hang out and decided to update my computer and mess around with my computer. So I just rolled around on the floor since I was bored. Then he decided to update my music selection, “Hey could you pass me my iPod?†I grumbled and shuffled through his bag and passed him is iPod. “Actually, could you pass me my cable? I don’t want to ruin yours.†An internal response of “eh?†came up, but I just grumbled some more and passed him his cable. “What the?! You know what, just clean out my bag for me will you?†“…â€For some reason I just glared at him with the evil eye, then emptied out his bag. The bag was emptied and he just looked confused. “I want you to clean my bag thoroughly.†I was about to toss one of the pens that came out of his bag, when I found myself grabbing onto something that was well hidden in his bag. It was a tiny monkey keychain with his face in it. The feeling of disappointment that changed to slight annoyance, evolved into a soft smile. Or so I would like to think of it as a soft smile. I probably had a “dur†face, while feeling soft and fluffy inside – happy.
He was not a geek of romantic ideas; actually, he was quiet crappy on this topic. So this small gesture took me by surprise like a well-rolled sneak attack. Afterwards, we went to the beach and watched an incredible sunset.

At least things seem to have been going well for you! I’ll give you a call sometime for lunch or something since I haven’t seen you in a while!
Yeah sure! Sounds good john!
