Do you remember your first box of crayons? When you got it, why you got it, where you got it, who you got it from, and how you got it? Because I don’t and I’m supposedly still in the “Oh you’re young!” age. However, if you do remember, feel free to share it with me!
What I remember about crayons is the aroma, totally unique to the crayon. If you’ve smelled it then you knew that it was crayons. It didn’t smell like a field of flowers, but it wasn’t disgusting either. I remember a long time ago how an art teacher wanted to make art out of crayons. She talked about how people don’t consider crayons as an art medium.

Maybe people thought that way because eventually we stopped using crayons and moved on to other types of “art” mediums. If I said that the image above was done in Crayola Crayons, would you believe in me? Even if you don’t, you’re going to have to believe in me. Don Marco, who developed this technique to create fine art using Crayola Crayons, is the creator of the piece. Check out more of his insane artwork @ The Master Crayon Artist.
Thank you Gwen for sending me the link to that awesome site!:D It never ceases to surprise me how things that seem impossible become possible. I’m amazed at how people can take their vision and start to figure out how to make it work. If you think you have a good idea then do some research to see if it’s been done and then put yourself in action! (I know I know… easier said than done… ^^;)
That’s awesome.
I want to go buy a pack now :3
yeah! Isn’t it awesome?! People can really make beautiful things with almost anything if you think about it. ^^
