Today’s model had a rugged look that made me associate him with a old school cowboy movie. BUT! I drew his face too small! @#%$^&!!! x.x maybe next class I’ll have more luck. >,>

The model for todays class was really hard to sketch! She had a really cool energy to the way she looked so I wanted to draw her as accurately as possible. But alas, I am no where near being a master Jedi….. :(

It is already the fifth class! So 5 more classes before the quarter is up at the school. I wonder if I’m improving, but here I am posting up the images onto my blog. Today’s model had a really cool fuzzy hat on! It really nice to draw someone who doesn’t have perfect skin or perfect hair.

Ahhhh the forth class! Today I moved myself so I could draw from a different view. I ended up getting the portrait straight on. At first I thought “Oh cool it’ll be easier than the side ones.” Meep! I was so wrong… T_T I got my butt kicked so royally.

Here is the third class. I find glasses really hard to draw. In addition to the pencil control. I want to be like the teachers and hopefully skill up to beable to draw a awesome portrait in 25 minutes instead of 3 hours. >,<

I started to take some classes at Watts Atelier to get back into honing my skillz in the arts. I will update each week with a new sketch from the portrait class I’m taking. Hopefully we will see a progression of improvement. (hopefully…) >,>
